Beauty

Is there beauty in age? The Autumn leaves say a resounding, yes!

Vanguard

The vanguard into Autumn – the first among many around it to bravely express its Autumnal colour. It pays a price, though; it’s also the first to stand bare and skeletal when the cold breath of Winter begins to blow.

Autumn

A walk in a park

The beauty of Autumn so overwhelms me. Before the letting go and the inevitable floating descent, the leaves offer such a profusion of colour and form. What a way for them to die!

Autumn 2

When Autumn wraps itself around you. I took a walk around West Malling village while waiting for my vehicle to be serviced. I came across this lovely little scene. I suppose I’m guilty of what some may say a chocolate box mentality when it comes to this image, but what the hell, I thought it was great.

Changing Life

Watching the changes in Nature, my thoughts have also moved on to those changes going on within us.

I think one of the most beautiful processes is the one that secretly goes on in every human life as it gathers, in the flow of time, its experiences and unites them into a unique inner story of memory and ongoing change. What a privilege to be able to observe these unfolding stories in ourselves and in others, and to partake in creating and shaping them throughout the seasons of life.

Autumn Colours

When colour touches the inner eye of the soul it ignites health and brightness of life – that’s certainly my experience. Autumn can never be a time of gloom.
