i was walking in the woods and was captivated by this. I’m always humbled in the presence of a tree like this – old, wise, scarred and full of memory and experience. I wish it could speak. But then I think it does. I just don’t know how to listen.

I think everything in nature speaks, not just the trees. Your photo shows a tree crammed with the experience of years and the changing of the seasons. I hope it continues to grow and thrive.

I agree Vicki. I think Nature is inherently communicative.

Isn’t that a wonderful tree-elder. So beautiful. I think the tree does tell a story, just through its experienced exterior. How old do think it might be?

I’m not sure how old it is, Lynette. Love the way you describe it as an elder.
