What a beautiful tree, Don. I love trees and I love moss. So this photo is beautiful to me. BTW, my mother’s maiden name was Moss so I called my maternal grandmother Ma Moss. Makes me smile.
Well, Joyce is doing a good job of contradiction her own poem. The roots and the lower trunk of the tree in the photo is amazing. But her poem is lovely, too.
I pass a tree like this every morning on my walk. I remember reading that poem in school – takes me back.

Thanks Dan. I also remember it from school. Being a tree lover it has come to mean a whole lot more to me now.
