I took a walk through the woods today and saw the sheer beauty of carpets and carpets of bluebells. The woods were dark, but dabbled with sunlight and mystery. I had the distinct feeling of not being alone. The woods have that affect on me. When I’m in them I always feel I’m surrounded by presence. I have no language to articulate it. It’s not an ominous thing, just a mysterious and beautiful presence.

    • Thank you LuAnne. So appreciate your comment and thank you for the link. What a beautiful article. I was deeply touched by so much of what was said. Such life-giving words and so much to ponder on. Apart from many other insights, I was moved by the one on Alzheimers and it’s connection to the way we treat the earth.

Sadly, that very wood I walk through so often, will be torn down to make way for houses. I find it hard to grasp this kind of destruction.
