    THE CHALLENGE
The majority of the space layout and some select finishes needed to stay due to client budget and material availability. This project was executed in the middle of Covid and an open hybrid layout was still preferred by our client. As with many projects, we had to plan for now and a few years out so that the space could efficiently grow with the company. Our client also has a strong brand presence and standards that we needed to incorporate seamlessly with the interior design of the space. This included specific color schemes and a high level of design.

    THE DESIGN SOLUTION
A proud design moment was working around the existing casework. The original cabinets had to stay. They are a dark finish and looked short and squatty on the wall because of a finishes drywall ceiling above and being on a stark white wall. To help this, we added a vertical dark ribbed large format tile to bring your eye up the wall and help blend the cabinets on the wall.

    THE DESIGN IMPACT
Using our clients branding fonts, colors and overall core values, we incorporated bright + neutral colors to work together with existing finishes to bring a previously dull space to life. Sometimes working with existing conditions that aren’t ideal push your design thought process towards more problem-solving design solutions that may not have been incorporated previously.
