ARCO Murray Design Build Offices – Dallas
ARCO Murray Design Build created a space for their team for both collaborative work and individual concentration at their offices in Dallas, Texas.
ARCO Murray, a design-build firm, saw an opportunity to showcase their heritage in a new workspace design for their Dallas office. With a long legacy in construction, the project features contemporary use of industrial material and custom-built design elements.
The reception area opens to views of the Dallas metro skyline through the fully glazed board room for an impactful first impression. The firm’s design team collaborated with a local metal shop to fabricate custom furniture including both the entry table and board room table supported by raw steel beam legs.
Alongside the industrial elements are natural reclaimed wood finishes in a variety of cladding applications – wall, soffit, ceiling, and walkway portals. Acoustic baffles are suspended in the open office areas to soften noise and create comfortable work environments. Greenery throughout brings life and movement to the office including the feature green wall design in the board room.
ARCO Murray’s workspace encourages multiple styles of working with collaboration spaces, flexible seating, and privacy booths. The variety of working areas within the open office layout allow for teams to connect as needed. The central café was designed as a hospitality hub to create a space to gather and includes a golf simulator, collaboration tables, and a relaxed dining atmosphere.
