Cotton On Offices & Distribution Center – Geelong
PTID has developed the new offices and distribution center of Cotton On located in Geelong, Australia.
The Cotton On Group is a vibrant, rapidly expanding Australian owned retail company delivering dynamic ‘value fashion’ to a local and international marketplace. One of the largest employers in Geelong, the development of these head office facilities have enabled Cotton On to continue their proactive employment programmes, attracting and retaining staff by offering an exciting work environment, enabling a highly designed experience to enhance the operational, functional and environmentally sustainable needs of the Group.
The creation of a dynamic office environment from a bare warehouse shell required a complex design resolution resonating with an industrial past, evolving into a lively building that now sustains over three hundred occupants and their myriad of functional needs. Defining work practice was at the core of the design process – a forensic assessment to gain an insight into the journey undertaken by garments and fashion accessories. From their initial design, selection, logistics and supply chain, through to visual merchandising, ‘mock shop’ display and quality assurance. The transformed structure caters for the creative and logistic support of the vast Cotton On retail network.
