Foley’s Offices – Mexico City
FRANCISCO HANHAUSEN has created a beautiful space for Foley’s offices located in downtown Mexico City, Mexico.
Corporate headquarters for Foley’s Mexico is a new project constructed on the rooftop of a 5-level building from the 80’s, located in downtown Mexico City. This area of the city lacks interesting views, so the main challenge was to create internal open-air patios with natural vegetation, avoiding windows street-facing. The patios provide day light and natural ventilation to all the spaces, as well as nice and relaxing views. To accomplish the difference of levels and to be able to place the planters in the patios, the whole area was raised with a double slab. We took advantage of the space between the two slabs to place planters, ducts and engineering. Since clients spend most of the day in the office space, the interior design needed to be relaxing yet luxurious, with a timeless and contemporary feel. Once inside, the atmosphere feels welcoming and inspiring.
