Banca Transilvania Private Banking – Bucharest
BL Studio Associates played with thoughtful lighting, textures, and furniture to complete the Banca Transilvania offices in Bucharest, Romania.

At first glance, one might consider that the perception of space is based only on the visual sense. But, following a careful study, it is observed that this visual space is enriched at the level of perception through signs that are based on auditory, tactile and olfactory experiences. None of these signs are perceived independently; in fact, experimental evidence shows that these senses combine to produce a complete perceptual experience.
This interplay between form and light is perhaps more evident than ever, nor ever more impactful and impressive, than through the medium of our new vision for Banca Transilvania “Private Banking” projects’ architecture, in which light and shape become at times both one and the same.
The vision intertwines with elegance and functionality, everything revolving around the main core – the “Private Banking” Client.
Taking over the existing building and completing it inside-out to meet the requirements for Banca Transilvania “ Private Banking” architecture, both contemporary and historical, defines an individuals life daily and has a lasting impact on our perceived memory of a place. And while older architecture has its own charm, it’s no secret that, at its best, modern architecture has the ability to be inspiring and when these two worlds of old and new come together, the result can be awe-inspiring.
