DCR Offices – Houston
AMB Architects was engaged by DCR to give a sophistication and custom approach to the historic offices in Houston, Texas.
DCR provides capital solutions to top tier oil and gas companies. Being in The Jones on Main in downtown Houston creates merit to the design of the office.
Lead Interior Designer Breann Nash and Project Manager Lauren Houser put a focus on DCR’s blue logo to bring color and vibrance in their modern space. The fun breakroom backsplash creates one of the many focal points that can be found throughout this project.
Double-paned glass walls on the front conference rooms ensure privacy for important meetings while allowing for the downtown views to flow through the reception area. Custom reception desk featuring the vibrant logo is centered on the elevator lobby that still features the original marble and mail slot from this historic building. Care was taken to preserve the historical value of the space while incorporating modern technology and comforts.
