Indeed Gateway Offices – Austin
A design inspired by all things Austin, each of Indeed's floors reflects a concept and color scheme based on local events, music, food and destinations of the Texas capital city.
STG Design and Edgequarters put collaboration and fun at the focus when designing the Indeed offices in the expansive Gateway building in Austin, Texas.
Our team enjoyed creating a different feeling from floor to floor with unique furniture, fabrics, finishes and accessories while still maintaining an overall cohesiveness.
One unique element of this office was the introduction of Innovation Studios throughout, where we brought in products that were both fun and collaborative in new ways, such as the Bob by Scandinavian Spaces, the Free Address by Stylex and the Meet by Offecct.
Another new item that was piloted was the Clarus Flex wall for the teaming spaces. This modularity allowed a sound barrier from the benching to the more active, collaborative spaces with acoustical felt on one side and whiteboard on the other.
For the lounge spaces, we sourced many types of powered modular pieces that also help promote the flexibility that is needed in office spaces now more than ever, such as the Meander modular sofa by Keilhauer, the Parker Planters by Allsteel, and the Boost stools by OFS to name a few. By layering in many of the retail furniture, we stayed budget friendly and also created areas that had a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere.
Andreu World tables and Emeco chairs were used together for the pantries for their sustainability, style and functionality, stackable chairs and durable table surfaces. Our space planning broke up the sea of tables in the main pantry with creative lounge for company events.
Plants, area rugs, decorative pillows and local, unique accessories, brought the space together and the local Austin concept to fruition.
