ProAV Solutions & Profile Systems Offices – Sydney
IA Design was engaged by ProAV Solutions & Profile Systems to design their offices located in Sydney, Australia.
With a strong desire to consolidate all areas of the business under one roof, moving away from their 3 existing silo’ed offices, this allowed for seamless collaboration and interaction between staff members increasing day-to-day communication and efficiencies across the business. The location of the new office was carefully considered to ensure long standing members of staff still maintained easy access to their work environment.
The overall concept for the project was centered around the new office location drawing on the beautiful tones and hues of the northern beach scenes.
The design provides a light, bright, neutral backdrop of earthy tones and textures, in which to overlay the two businesses core values through areas of strong digital display, technology and furniture.
A play on tranquil, calm light levels was explored through soft concealed lighting effects mimicking the contrasts experienced at the beach from dawn to dusk. Planting can be seen weaving through the space creating an even coverage within a calm oasis. Through references to biophilia and the integration of natural elements, we were able to maintain a humanistic touch, a calm working environment for staff encouraging wellness in the workplace. A contrast to the digital world of technology.
