FSG – Stockholm Offices
HOW Arkitekter has designed a new office space for FSG, a construction firm based in Stockholm, Sweden.
The objective is in an attempt to create a clear and coherent design while keeping the appreciated atmosphere of an old classical apartment. We started with developing the pattern from the original floor in the space, an oak parquet. The star-shape from the floor became the base for a multi-colored carpet that is flowing through all the spaces. Then we designed furniture in colors extract from the carpet. We also added the circle as a shape for handles, lighting armatures, etc. All furniture we provided for the project include bookshelves, working tables, meeting tables, cupboards and even waste bins and document holders are following the same form language and material.
