Wave Capital Offices – San Francisco
IDF Studio was engaged by the venture funding firm, Wave Capital, to design their offices in the Mission neighborhood of San Francisco, California.

When we first met the founders at Wave Capital, we were impressed by their ambition, realism, and humility. Come to find out, we’d be helping them create an office that imbued these same traits. Their values-based vision, synced up with our design team’s ideas of how to bring this vision to life, transformed a bland loft space into a welcoming and inspiring hub for early-stage businesses.
A cozy, urban vibe permeates this Mission office, gearing a small but ambitious team to pave new pathways in the world of venture funding. Consistent with the founder’s values, we gave the office a decidedly down-to-earth feel, using warm woods, dark blues, pops of cayenne and leather, and intimate meeting spaces. Even the twelve-foot, custom-made fiber art piece in the front entry speaks to authenticity and community, with its natural materials woven by a local artist.
