Indeed Offices – Tokyo
Cosmos More has designed the new offices of job search firm Indeed located in Tokyo, Japan.
“The best development environment for engineers” was the ultimate goal for Indeed Tokyo. After researching engineers’ working styles, it was clear that switching ON and OFF time greatly affects their performances. Therefore we created work stations in the middle of the office and set various kinds of space with unique ambiance.
As an ultimate “OFF time” space, we created 2 distinctive refreshing space: resort hotel and Zen garden. First theme is a resort hotel 330ft above the ground. This resort area is located on the south side of the office where natural sunlight coming through. We collaborated with plant designers and placed garden furniture to maximize organic and peaceful ambiance so engineers can enjoy the sun and nature without going outside. Another OFF space is inspired by traditional Japanese architecture and garden. By taking off their shoes to enter this space, ultimate comfort mindset comes into their mind while feeling Japanese culture.
To provide the best settings for development, we put divergent areas to turn on and off mood smoothly. It is proved that engineer’s productivity and team spirit improved, and they are happier than ever.
